Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB) Approves NetEnt License

Net Entertainment Obtains its License as Supplier for BC, Canadian Gambling Market

The Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB), the gaming regulator in British Columbia approved Net Entertainment Americas LLC to be a gaming supplier for the British Columbia Lottery Corporation. This is the only province in the country that is licensed for lottery and gaming operations and a big milestone for NetEnt.

NetEnt Americas is a subsidiary of NetEnt AB. It focuses on the US market only with headquarters stationed throughout the world. NetEnt will be the main supplier of games to A Crown corporation. It is a British Columbia Lottery Corporation operation that caters to the Canadian gaming market. A Crown corporation’s revenues are given back to the community through supporting health care and education. The BCLC has been offering lottery style gaming in the jurisdiction since 1985.

NetEnt President and CEO, Per Eriksson released a press release statement with,

“I am very pleased that we have reached yet another important milestone in our expansion in regulated markets. We are the online casino supplier with the largest presence on regulated markets in terms of the number of licenses and certifications that we hold, and entering the province of British Columbia in Canada is another important step for us.”
