Aristocrat Technologies has cited growth across its digital businesses as one of the main reasons behind a year-on-year increase in revenue and profit
Aristocrat Technologies reported its digital business generated revenue growth for year-on-year revenues. Aristocrat’s digital growth for the first half of the year seen a 6.9% increase. Operating revenues amounted to $1.45 billion, a 29.8% increase from the previous year. Revenues for the America sector was up by 18.1% to $682.7 million. The company’s New Zealand and Australian sectors also experienced improving revenues showing a 7% increase.
Aristocrat reflected on the financial results saying, “Another double-digit profit improvement over the six months to 31 March 2019 demonstrates our sound and ambitious strategy and strong commercial execution.” Aristocrat also said the company is very pleased with the continual deliverance for above market growth at a profitable level which has led the company to “strong free cash flow and the ability to reinvest to self-fund future growth, whilst ensuring strong foundations remain in place.”
Aristocrat also reported that the company seen a big decrease in its international revenue. They said the 15% decline is due to the continual cycle of its new casino openings the prior year. Aristocrat didn’t go into detail with its expenses and costs. The financial reports focused more on its highlighted areas and its gross across the board.
