UK Gambling Commission Grants Approval for Nektan to Offer its Services in the UK Market
The UK Gambling Commission recently granted approval for Nektan to offer its services to the UK market. Nektan is a B2B gaming platform and content provider that operates under a Gibraltar continuation license to offer its products since the new regulations in the UK took place last year.
The new license will allow Nektan “Hands on Gaming” to continue offering its award winning products to operators who are regulated and licensed in the UK market. CEO of Nektan, David Gosen said,
“We are pleased to have received approval for both a software and gaming licence, which allows Nektan to operate our platform for our partners under a local licence in the UK market, said the firm’s chief David Gosen.
“The UK is the largest gaming market in Europe and remains a key focus for our continued growth.” The share price had climed 8.87% to 178p by 09:20.
Nektan released a brand new white label gaming product earlier this month for The Sun, a UK owned tabloid. They also have a few other deals in place with one of them consisting of launching a new online casino for the TV3 Group, Ireland’s leading commercial broadcaster.
“We are constantly striving to increase the level of engagement users have with our brands and we recognise that the fastest growing way to play games is now on smartphone apps. We’ve had huge success offering The Sun on mobile and tablet and believe Sun Play is the ideal way for us to continue to extend our entertainment platforms, while also reaching new audiences. We are delighted to be working with Nektan to provide a state of the art gaming experience across mobile, tablet and desktop platforms.” – News UK CEO, Mike Darcey
Other partners included with its white label products and games include Go Win Casino, Winzino, Kerching, Red8Casino.tv, City AM and Channel 4.
