Danske Spil, Denmark’s top leading and state-controlled gaming operator, announced the appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer, Søren Skovdal Rasmussen.
Skovdal Rasmussen will follow Allan Auning-Hansen with his new position starting on November 1, 2019. Danske Spil said they were presented with several candidates, all with strong backgrounds, for the appointment, but Skovdal Rasmussen’s unique and sturdy financial experience combined with a deep insight with retail products is what won the votes.
Skovdal Rasmussen has previously served as a Chief Executive for Kort & Godt A/S, a reputable newsagent chain and Chief Financial Officer for DSB. Auning-Hansen announced his leaving of the company back in May when he accepted a position as Chief Financial Officers and Partner at Joe & The Juice.
Skovdal Rasmussen spoke on his new position with the operator saying he looks forward to working with Danske and getting to know the company. He added its always been a desire to work with finances again and there is no doubt that being appointed for this new position with Danske Spil is the perfect opportunity to do what he loves and utilize his retail and commercial experience to the fullest.
