IGT Secures Multi-Hand Poker Patent in the US through November 2016™
IGT has been issued a US Patent for its multi-hand poker functionality for its video poker products in the US. US Patent No. 9,105,158 gives International Gaming Technology exclusive rights to its popular multi-hand video poker games until November 2016.
The original patent was first attained last February from Action Gaming, casino games developer. The company expanded its partnership which goes all the way back to 1998. A selection of IGT games are covered with the patent. These include a range of 10 hand, 25, 50 and 100 hand games such as Triple Play, All-Star Poker, Hyper Bonus Poker, Ultimate X Poker, Draw Poker and Ten Play.

The confirmed agreement that took place last year explains that the patents will be used to create new titles across various channels which will include social gaming and real money online sites.
