IGT Has Been Awarded a 10 Year Service Contract for the South Carolina Education Lottery
IGT’s subsidiary IGT Global Solutions Corporation announced its latest contract agreement. IGT was awarded a 10-year contract with the South Carolina Education Lottery. The contract details the delivery of a new draw-based central lottery system, backup systems, new terminals, ongoing services to the lottery and a multifaceted communications network.
The 10-year contract will start May 13, 2018 and will end in 2028. IGT will also provide the IGT Aurora™ platform, Aurora Open Retail. This is a brand-new retail solutions platform that will allow SCEL support multiple retailer devices. The agreement contract will finalize once IGT’s primary data center in Columbia, South Carolina is complete. The data center is already underway and in the works.
IGT’s COO of the Lottery Division, Jay Gendron released the following statement,
