Harrah’s Re-Launching “Caesars Online Casino” After Dropping Dragonfish

UPDATE: We’ve recently received word that Dragonfish software does allow players to use the no download format for many of their clients and that Harrah’s continues to use Dragonfish software and has also extended their relationship to include free play poker in the U.S. under the WSOP brand.

Las Vegas giant Harrah’s who entered the online gaming industry this year with their own brand of online casino and poker room have decided to drop Dragonfish as their software provider. Using the Dragonfish software did not allow players the opportunity to enjoy all their games in a no download format, which Harrah’s wanted to provide. Now Harrah’s online casino “Caesar Casino” will be powered by the gaming company “Jackpot Joy” which allows gamblers to either download the casino software or play right through their website with no downloading needed.

When the re-launch takes place, Harrah’s will be offering new players some free spins to get them excited over their brand of games and expansive new casino. The new launch date has not been set yet, further details are still emerging, and we will be sure to report any news coming forth in the near future.

Harrah’s online endeavors with Caesars Casino and Caesars Poker are only available internationally and not in the USA, but as time will tell the UIGEA gambling ban may be repealed soon and that would give USA players the opportunity to register an account at these two highly respected new sites and support online gaming sites that were born in the USA.
