Kindred Group Aiming to Launch Across the New Jersey Sports Betting Market Early Next Year
The Kindred Group is aiming to launch across the New Jersey sports betting market early next year. After expanding with its existing supply deal with Kambi, Kindred Group is hoping to cover the New Jersey sports market with the operator early 2019. Kindred has also partnered with Scientific Games Digital division to power the casino offerings, ahead of its move into the US. Kambi powers around 70% of the online sports betting market in New Jersey currently.
Senior Vice President of Kindred Group, Manuel Stan said in a recent interview, “We have not finalised the exact timelines [for the New Jersey launch] but we are aiming for Q1 2019.”
Stand added, “At the moment, the focus is to launch in New Jersey. At the same time, we are closely evaluating all other states regulating, and of course Pennsylvania is a very interesting opportunity. We are closely evaluating all the states regulating sports betting. At the moment, the north-east region is the most active in this space. All regulated states are of interest, but at this moment we have no agreement with any casinos in Pennsylvania.”
