IGT’s Subsidiary Signs a Seven Year Contract with Mississippi Lottery Corp
IGT’s subsidiary signed a seven-year contract with Mississippi Lottery Corporation. The contract extension will see IGT Global Solutions Corporation providing MLC with its lottery terminals, draw-based central system and other basic lottery services, instant tickets, distribution of games and other basic lottery services and products.
IGT won the bid after a competitive process was held. Details of the contracts allow for up to three, one-year contracts. The Mississippi Lottery Corp is expected to see IGT’s first lottery ticket no later than December 1 of this year. IGT isn’t new to the state. They have maintained its presence since 1992 with helping the first casino in the state open and through its gaming operations. The gaming provider and supplier will open a new office in the state, as well as a warehouse to accommodate its latest contract.
IGT’s Chief Operating Officer for the Lottery Division said the company’s experience with solutions, leading technology and services for lotteries is unparalleled. The company has helped more than 10 lotteries start their business in the country. They are looking forward to introducing and delivering lottery entertainment to the state. The Mississippi Lottery Corp added to the comments saying they are thrilled to have IGT on board.
