Playtech, the world’s leading gambling technology company, announced that operator Red Star Poker is joining its iPoker network
Red Star Poker revealed its plans to migrate to the iPoker Network after its current poker platform, Microgaming Poker Network announced the closure of the network next year. Red Star Poker hasn’t been with MPN very long. They joined in August of this year and is focusing mainly on Eastern Europe. Just one month after joining MPN Microgaming announced that due to an extensive internal review of its 2020 strategy they would be closing the network in 2020.
Red Star Poker was established back in 2005, and since its launch they have gained a following throughout the poker community. With the joining of the Playtech iPoker Network they will gain instant access to all of Playtech’s software, liquidity pool, products and services. Playtech commented on the migration between them and Red Star Poker saying they are completely committed to addressing the challenges the poker market is facing right now with undeniable challenges.
They welcome Red Star to the family and the decision Red Star made to collaborate with them is a testament to their long-term investment in the poker network and to their operators.
