Richard ‘nutsinho’ Lyndaker Passes Away at the Young Age of 33 After Reports of Drug Overdose are Confirmed
Online poker legend Richard ‘nutsinho’ Lyndaker has died. Reports are confirming that Lyndaker died at the age of 33 from an alleged accidental overdose at his San Diego apartment. A close friend to the family, and Lyndaker himself, wrote on a poker website that Richard passed away between July 29 and July 30. It was the same person that posted that confirmed that Lyndaker was taking pain medications to help alleviate the pain after a soccer injury.
The online poker community is devastated with tributes pouring in from around the world. Poker players called Lyndaker a ‘fierce competitor’ who was always laughing things off. Another player left a nice little tribute saying that Lyndaker’s pioneered strategies were very beneficial to the community.
Lyndaker started his fierce competition back in 2008 when he finished as runner-up to Joe Commisso in a $5,000 No Limit Hold’em event at the WSOP. He took home more than half a million dollars. In 2010 he was one of the top online cash game earners at PokerStars. The online poker world was Lyndaker’s sole income. He earned an astounding $1.8 million playing live tournaments.
