PokerStars Gets Mobile App to Italian itunes Store

According to eGaming Review PokerStars has officially launched it first mobile poker app available to Italy’s iTunes store. The app will be available only to Italian poker players with a registered itunes account. The poker app became available yesterday to players where they could download the app for free.

A release of features on the app are,  “hundreds of thousands of players online every day, only play money games, cash games, tournaments with games starting every moment of the day, chat functionality, multi-table, tutorials, guides and FAQs, and a filter function for all types of games (Texas Hold’em, Omaha, and Omaha Hi-Lo), levels, limits and table type”. The app is also available in several different languages including, Italian, English, French, Russian, Spanish and German.

Since the purchase of Cecure Gaming as of November 11, 2009, (Cecure gaming designed and operated mobile poker and casino games and once also provided software and service solutions to mobile carriers) PokerStars has been said to be working on the mobile app.

Rational Entertainment Enterprises Limited, doing business as PokerStars, operates, an online poker site for players in the United Kingdom and internationally. It enables members to play online poker games and tournaments, including Texas Hold’em, Omaha, STUD, and mixed games. Rational Entertainment Enterprises Limited has a strategic relationship with Wynn Resorts Ltd. The company was founded in 2001 and is based in Douglas, United Kingdom.
