William Hill Appoints Philip Bowcock as its New President of Digital US Sector with Aim To Be Market Leader in the US
William Hill appoints a new President of Digital for the company’s US sector. William Hill appointed Kenneth Fuchs, a leading digital executive that has held several senior management positions with media and global technology companies for the new position. Fuchs was, most recently, a CEO for a global leader in sports data, STATS. He also worked previously with Yahoo Sports, Yahoo Entertainment and Yahoo Finance.
Chief Executive Officer, Joe Asher said, “We are excited to have Ken join our team. He has a proven record at leading technology/media companies and a strong digital background that will allow us to continue to innovate and enhance our digital offerings as additional states legalize sports betting.”
Fuchs commented on his new position as well saying, “Sports betting is just getting started in the United States, and I’m thrilled to be joining one of the world’s most recognized and respected brands at such an exciting time. William Hill U.S. already has an established, successful business in Nevada and has made fantastic progress since sports betting was legalized elsewhere earlier this year. I look forward to working with the team in our pursuit of market leadership and delivering great digital and mobile experiences for our customers and partners.”
