Yggdrasil Gaming Prepares Ahead for the Italian Market as First Batch of Games to be Certified During Q2 2017
Yggdrasil Gaming released a press statement this week announcing that they have started the process of games and platform certifications to enter the Italian market. Yggdrasil is making sure all of its software is in compliance with the Italian laws so they can go live in the second quarter of this year.
The announcement of going live in the Italian market came about a month ago with the gaming provider more than excited to expand its presence in the industry. With Yggdrasil entering the Italian market it proves that expanding its geographical reach, especially in one of the most impressive performing regions that they are committed.
Fredrik Elmqvist, CEO at Yggdrasil Gaming released the following statement, “It is about time Yggdrasil crossed the Rubicon as Italy is one of the most exciting and fastest-growing markets in gaming. We already had a number of Tier 1 operators on our books who were active in Italy, so it really was a no-brainer to enter ourselves. We are already in negotiations with some major operators and hope to meet more at ENADA Primavera in Rimini in March.”
The move also assures the expansion strategy with the company receiving licenses in Malta, Gibraltar, Romania and the UK.
