In a new update concerning the controversy around the recent suspension of 666Bet by the UK Gambling Commission. It seems as though the ball is set mid court but has yet to come into play.
Former 666Bet and MetroPlay players are starting to receive their payouts, but the backlog of how many, and the process time is taking a little more time than anticipated. It’s been well over a month since the UK Gambling Commission suspended Metro Play Ltd operating license. After the suspension we learned that the director of 666Bet was arrested, leaving players wondering if and when they would receive their cash balance.
666Bet posted an update via their social media page saying the number of withdrawals is taking a couple days longer than first advised; 3-5 days. The pending withdrawal issues they said they are “working on a resolution to return balances to customer accounts as quickly as possible.” They also reminded their players on Facebook telling them to open a Skrill account to be able to receive their withdrawal request.
666Bet customers: Website is live, albeit there have been some issues with stability. Facility available for customers to request withdrawals. For those who do not have pending withdrawals, withdrawal requests are being actioned and payouts are being made via Skrill.” – Gambling Commission
According to the UKGC both websites are live, but customers aren’t communicating in terms of responding to emails sent out by the operator. The only communication tactics is from their Facebook account. Although payouts from both gambling sites are being processed and some players are receiving their balances, all payouts from the month of March haven’t been touched.
